20 Apr. 2026, Suzhou, China – RAYSHAPE, a leading innovator in dental 3D printing solutions, today announced the successful validation of SAREMCO print CROWNTEC resin on its Edge E2 and Edge mini dental 3D printing systems, in collaboration with SAREMCO Dental AG, a Swiss manufacturer specializing in high-performance biocompatible materials.

This milestone marks a significant expansion of the partnership between the two companies, enabling dental laboratories and chairside clinics to implement a fully validated workflow for permanent and long-term restorations using RAYSHAPE’s latest LCD platforms.
SAREMCO print CROWNTEC is a light-curing, single-phase composite resin designed for additive manufacturing of indirect restorations, including crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers, and denture teeth. The material is CE-certified as a Class IIa medical device and cleared under FDA 510(k), with demonstrated mechanical properties, biocompatibility, and esthetic stability.

Validation was conducted using both the Edge E2 and Edge mini systems in combination with the Otoflash (NK Optik) post-curing unit. The approved post-curing protocol consists of 2 × 2500 flashes. Under these conditions, the printed restorations exhibited flexural strength values that exceeded the specified standards, and their color properties were evaluated positively under the applied test conditions.
The Edge E2 is designed for use in dental laboratories with higher production volumes and supports a range of dental applications. The Edge mini is a compact system intended for chairside use, enabling dental practices to produce restorations at the point of care.

“This validation reflects our ongoing activities in the development of an open dental 3D printing ecosystem”, said a RAYSHAPE CEO Bill. “Collaborating with material partners such as SAREMCO helps ensure that officially approved workflows for dental applications are available and that reproducibility is guaranteed for every print.”
The validated combination of SAREMCO print CROWNTEC, Edge E2, Edge mini, and Otoflash provides a workflow for the production of indirect restorations in both laboratory and chairside settings.
